Smile!!

Do you realize how important smiling is? Try it! I honestly believe that if in every area of your life you are giving back to life in some way shape or for, then that is the way to have the best life possible. One of the simplest things to change about yourself (if you need this change), is to try smiling at people. It works for me.

It seems that when I smile at random people it not only makes them feel great, but ultimately it makes me feel great. There was a certain time in my life when it was so important for me to be the “tough guy” and while sometime’s circumstance merits the negative “tough guy” attitude, I have found that I rarely need to even be “that guy” anymore, because people enjoy being around me when I am happy. When I am happy I smile and that makes everything all the better.

Nowadays when I see a person who is acting weird or doing something psycho, I just kind of look at them and grin. I can’t help it, it makes me sort of giggle when I see that odd behavior that people display in the streets, but really, you kind of get away with laughing when you take things lightly and share your joy. It is a real way to live and usually if you share that silliness with people rather then giving them an odd or fearful face. People really just want to be noticed and noticing them is one of the easiest ways to give back.

I really believe if you start small in life and practice becoming better at the little things, a person will be able to accomplish more and reach the stars in everything that they undertake. This is part of being a moral and a productive person, but also it is very important in the game of life. When you give selflessly, expecting nothing in return, you truly receive even if it is just in a great feeling. That great feeling may be the great feeling that fuels the inspiration which catapults you into a life that you only imagined!

Once you start giving in one area of life, the rest of your life slowly conforms to that behavior and you begin unconsciously doing things like smiling at everyone and it draws people to you, the right people are drawn and your life becomes that much more meaningful!~

Tomorrows the big day!

Tomorrow is the big day for my audition with "Deal or No Deal". I am pretty excited about it. Turns out that I have EXACTLY enough money to get to the studio. How cool of a story would it be if I actually landed the gig! I am gonna try really hard.

So life has taken a little bit of a toll on me the last few days. Since I lost my wallet I have not been able to access the little cash that I do have available and I have not been able to do the same work that I am doing. The good thing is that all of my documents except my social security card are in the mail. It will take 3 weeks for my ID though. This means that I can only do odd jobs and it looks like the great job I thought I was going to be able to start is falling through, oh well. I look at it like this, I have up to 3 weeks to write my blog every day, exercise and study. I have enough money to eat for 3 weeks, so thats a plus. Now, all I need to worry about is my storage unit at the beginning of the month and a $50 credit card payment. All is well, all is well...things have a way of working themselves out.

Today I was also to make contact with a buddy of mine "Sam" who was out here a few weeks ago. We had good times sitting around the beach and singing songs and just being silly. Had to make note of ya Sam. Great to here from you!

Also I have been hanging with another band (go figure). I have mentioned them before, they are "Content Life" and they can be heard on myspace @ www.myspace.com/contentlifelove or www.myspace.com/contenlife the second link is the OFFICIAL PAGE where you can purchase songs for download. You can also visit my page for my favorite song. We have spent many nights so far on Santa Monica Beach, in the 3rd St Promenade and in Hollywood dancing and just enjoying some great tunes with some great people. These guys truly have talent and are totally down to earth, when they play INSTANT crowd.

Well, I am gonna keep you all posted on the adventures. Of course there is a lot of magic here and that makes me confident even if there isn't always super excitement...it is a great ride. Maybe I will achieve all of that which I have set out to do, or maybe I won't. All I can say is this, I am enjoying some of the greatest times of my life. The greatest time for all of us is NOW.

One love

Robbed!

They robbed me! Yep, it's true. Saturday evening I fell asleep on the beach with my backpack. I was woken in the morning by the giant rake raking the beach and when I realized what time it was I reached into my pack. They stole my flip flops, my wallet, my phone and a couple other minor things including cash. Luckily my laptop was locked up in storage! It had me totally devastated on Sunday because I was just getting ready to start a great job and I have a big audition this week. Now, I can't do the job because I can't access the resources I need without I.D. or Social. Plus, you can't work without those documents anyhow.

I didn't have my phone but the thieves made sure to call the girls in my phone and be vulgar and rude. I was lucky enough to be able to replace the phone today and cancel all of my cards that were in my wallet. They even got my birth certificate.

God works in strange ways.

Now, it seems that it will be at least 3 more weeks before I can get anything going. It takes 3 weeks to get my ID back and at this point I can't even rent a room.

I am, however, not letting this get me down at all. I am not pulling out my hair trying to make things work. Instead, I am taking the time to focus on the things I have to work on to be a successful human being internally and I am gonna go with it.

It is so hard for someone like me to just stop trying to make things happen and just wait. Apparently, that is what is meant for me to do. So wait is wait I will do. I really feel like I can handle more now than I have ever been able to handle in my entire life. Although I have gone through much worse things than this, I never handled them with a forgiving heart and without lashing out on someone, even if just in a minor way.

I have not cried out for help, in fact, I have done the opposite. I have become thankful for the break and if a break is what I will take...then so be it.

You can't always get what you want, but I have a funny feeling that this little experience is a stepping stone up the ladder to all that I desire.

So I wait.
