Traveling the nation has really taught me a lot about people, while we are all different and I can distinctivly pick out the differences in people regionally, we all really want the same things: peace, prosperity, safety and to be loved. I can honestly say that nothing has made me feel more loved than the true kindness and nature of people across our land.

From the foggy beaches of California to the old rusted cotton mills of Georgia, everywhere that I go, I meet people with great hearts and smiles on their faces. People doing what they do and enjoying it, however simple or complex "IT" is.

With the election coming up this week I am noticing people are quite competitive. Some worry that the election of one political party or another will and could drastically change their every day life and while it will bring us some changes, it will really just be business as usual in our towns across the U.S. We are web of communities across a broad land and while the Federal Government has it's hands in our lives more and more, we can be grateful for our Liberty.

We can thank our grandparents for that!

Blessed we are to have 50 distinctive States with distinctly different laws, where people can govern and establish communities based on their personal values and beliefs. We have gambling states and retirement states, Christian states and pot smoking states. Our nation is a complex grid of ideas and ideals and the rules are constantly changing, but the basic rules of Love and Tolerance are what holds us all together, no matter how different we are and that is what makes us GREAT!

Ours is truly a GREAT nation.

Once our elections are over the winter air will soon blow in and we will be drawn back to our homes and our families and we will prepare for a season of sharing and Holidays. No matter how you celebrate the winter months, we will all be spending time with the people who matter most to us, in peace and most of us in warm homes.

No matter what our political policy, we are all American...the show must go on and together we will move forward solving the problems of tomorrow.

Hit the Road Jack!!

My stay in Georgia has finally come to an end. While I really enjoyed the cool Autumn weather and the company of family, I am quite anxious to hit the road with my brother. My brother, Tim, and I have never done this together and aside from being roomates in Orlando when we were trying to do the college thing, we haven't had to many adventures. Now, along with the leaves and the trees and in sync with the politics of the day, its time for change again.

Sometime on Sunday my brother and I will be departing on the next adventure, a place that I hold near and dear, New Orleans, LA. When we get to New Orleans its right to work (if you want to call it that). I have arranged for us to do some background work on a NIKE commercial for Monday and Tuesday and that excites me. It seems like no matter how far I get from my dreams, they still follow me as I follow them.
